We walked to the next bar and this time I went first with my own old PA from FYD.
The girl had her duplicate with her as well and since the remainder of the group wanted to go out still we decided we would try a different bar. In less than a second this man had decided that something was wrong with her ID without scanning it or even looking at the back. all of us shook with what had just occurred. Not wanting to retaliate, the girl steps aside and the remainder of the groups moves with her. He looks up for a second and says, "Have a good night," and then looks back down at the old PA ID and says "If any of the rest of you have fakes I suggest you leave," or something along those lines holding the ID out for her and then pocketing her ID a moment later. The bouncer is in a horrible mood from the look of him and tells PA girl to get up against the wall and looks at her ID. When we get there, there is a short line and our small group of PA, NJ, and MD (real) waits to get to the bouncers. So the group decides to go to Cavanaugh's bar in University City for Thirsty Thursday and we head over. Male NJ ID had wrong eye color (it said black eyes) The bouncers looked at it for a second and I walked right by without issue.īack of PA ID's are blurry and the barcode along the top is misaligned from the real ID At this point everything was OK, the girl wasn't ID'd at trilogy but I was. It wasn't a crowded night at Cav's the first time we went so no bouncers and the bartender just gave our ID's quick glances. The cashiers at the corner stores gave it their quick glances and it checked out in their eyes, when scanned there it also worked.
They were used at a corner store to purchase beer and mine was used to get into Trilogy Night Club and also at Cavanaughs bar. So the two PA ID's have been used twice for the girls and four times prior to tonight for my own (male). The two PA's were ordered as a sample of FYD and the New Jersey's were ordered following receiving the first two. Two of us ordered old PA id's from FYD since we have strong Philly accents (not the best idea but really hard to mask an accent from growing up here especially when you're drunk) and the remainder of the group ordered FYD New Jersey's. Alright, I'll start this out by saying I am new to the whole fake experience but ooof tonight was rough.įirst some background, my friends and I go to college in Philadelphia.
